Chart notes
LIFE ON THE NILE alternated the lead inside a rival throughout, continued willingly in the lane and edged clear late. MISCHIEF'S MACHINE alternated on the lead outside the winner throughout and could not match strides late while holding the place. PRINCE IS MY BOY saved ground and made a mild late bid. TAPIT DOWN angled out in the second turn to move three and four wide, bid into the far turn but came up empty in the lane. ROSIE'S BOY settled off the pace three wide and made a mild gain but could not threaten late. BLUEGRASS BREEZE stalked the pace four wide and failed to mount a bid.
