Chart notes
HASTY FLYER gained the lead racing out from the rail, shook off a bid in the far turn and drew clear again under steady handling. WATER TESTER saved ground to the far turn, angled out into the lane and moved up but to just gain the place. GUNS moved three and four wide to get within reach of the leaders into the far turn then could not produce the needed late effort. HURRY UP N WAIT stalked the pace two or three wide and lacked a final closing run. FLY HIGH TRIGGER bumped with a rival at the start, moved up inside, angled four wide into the lane but could not reach the top ones. MAXIMUM GRACE reeled in the winner three wide going to the far turn to bid but gave way on entering the lane. LA. GRAND SLAM weakened from four wide. GENERAL PICKETT bumped with a rival at the start and was always back. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
