Chart notes
BRAQUET lacked speed, traveled the turn four deep, moved up in hand to take the lead in upper stretch, responded to urging and drew away. FRECCIA D'ARGENTO , between horses on the turn, swung wide in upper stretch and gained the place. AT FIRST SIGHT stalked the pace outside SWEET HEIDELBERG, overtook that one entering the stretch and gave way in the drive. THE HAUNTED ROOM worked between horses on the turn, swung to the seven path in upper stretch and failed to threaten. HAPPYBIRTHDAYCOREY stumbled at the start and gave way on the turn. COAL MINE , angled to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained inside horses, chased the pace and gave way. MAJESTY'S FREEDOM , never a factor, stayed along the inner rail on the turn, angled out and was floated to the eight path in mid stretch. SWEET HEIDELBERG showed speed along the inner rail, gave way in upper stretch and steadily drifted out the final furlong. JOLLY MISS JILL stalked the pace along the inner rail, stopped and was eased.
