Chart notes
CALL ME GUSTO stalked the pace three wide through the turn, rallied to make the lead at the top of the stretch, responded under right then left handed urging and finished full of run to win as much the best. MONTAUK COVE stalked the pace between horses, had a mild late rally in the five path and got up for second. LAUDA SPEED chased the pace along the inside, improved position in upper stretch then was outfinished for second. MARKHAMIAN set the pace to the top of the stretch then faded late. VERSATILE failed to menace. KOSCIUSZKO had brief speed. THAT KHENNY was no threat and returned bleeding from the nostrils.
