Chart notes
RUMBLING broke inward at the start then steadied in tight quarters just past the five furlong pole, raced on the rail throughout, was kept to task and ran on some through the stretch to gain the third spot. ULTIMATE FIGHTER hustled and made the lead from the break, was being pressed a bit by IDIOSYNCRASIES through the turn, came into the stretch in the two path with the lead but tired and gave way in deep stretch. IDIOSYNCRASIES stumbled badly at the start, recovered to press ULTIMATE FIGHTER through the turn, battled that rival in the stretch, gained the advantage late only to be nailed at the wire by the winner. GRAY MIKE broke well but was bearing in right after the break, dropped to last and was never factor. DYNO WAR was being coaxed along early to attend to the early pace, took up sharply just past the half-mile marker, lost momentum and a lot of ground on the rest of the field and was not a factor in the stretch. GONNA PICK DOMENIC broke out after the break then chased four wide down the backstretch, the briefly vied three wide going into the turn, lost ground late on the turn as the leaders quickened away, was put into a drive from the five-sixteenths, came back on down the stretch and was up in the final jump.
