Chart notes
FIVE DREAMS , eased off the inner rail entering the turn, advanced outside BYK, overtook that one in upper stretch, drifted out in mid stretch and prevailed under energetic urging. B WEST came in at the start, was well placed in the three path between horses on the turn, swung to the six path in upper stretch and rallied. BYK came out at the break, accelerated to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and weakened the final furlong. WHISKEY AND YOU raced along the inner rail on the turn and lacked the needed rally. JESTER'S SONG , steadied when squeezed back leaving the starting gate, stayed in the two path on the turn and was no threat. PUDGE BOY PALACE was no factor. BACKNTHEWOODS , four deep around the turn, chased the pace to the stretch then faltered.
