GREERS FERRY forwardly placed in the two path first turn, in some traffic late first turn, settled in the run up the backstretch, three to four wide advance late second turn, challenged on the outside of the first flight entering the stretch, kicked strongly clear. TOUGH CUSTOMER within striking distance four wide through the first turn, prompted the dueling leaders up the backstretch, three wide bid turning for home, proved no match for the winner the final furlong, clearly second best. HARVEST N'HEARTH stumbled at the start, lacked speed, began a steady advance far turn, split foes late in that bend, along for the show, no threat to the top two. KYE pressed the early leader, joined that one and dueled the middle half mile, weakened through the stretch after being headed by the winner. GOOD NEWS ROCKET broke back, lacked speed toward the inside, saved ground second turn, improved position without posing a serious threat. BIG COUNTRY BOY broke on top, showed the way early, dueled along the inside the middle four furlongs, gave way in the drive. BOTE forwardly placed along the inside, swung out four wide turning for home, lacked a closing kick. AWOL in mid pack and three wide, in traffic first turn, continued in the three path into and through the second turn, had little left for the stretch run. CAVANAL hesitated to be off slowly, void of speed, improved a bit while passing tiring rivals, never a threat. ENDUE was finished after a half. FLAT OUT BLESSED rank to be off slowly, moved outside while continued to be unruly first turn, remained back to be always outrun. HECKAMIGHTY five wide through the first turn, gave way after four furlongs.
