Chart notes
SAINT MARCO raced off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, came six wide into the stretch, closed steadily outside in the stretch run and ran down the leader in the final yards. PIT BOSS stalked three wide, bid two wide on the far turn, took over, kicked clear turning for home, dug in gamely in the final sixteenth and was caught nearing the wire. COBBLE ROAD stalked between rivals, then chased inside, chased on the far turn, rallied with the winner past midstretch and was outkicked. MAKABIM was outrun early, moved up four wide on the far turn, came six wide into the lane, came over at the furlong marker bothering GURT'S WARRIOR, then rallied mildly outside. JACOHARE chased the early pace, then tracked on the inside and finished evenly on the rail in the stretch. TEEWINOT PASS was bumped at the start, outrun early, advanced inside on the far turn and closed belatedly. ROMAN EMPIRE raced off the pace with an inside trip and failed to threaten. SUPER JOHN showed good early speed, cleared the field to set the pace, dueled inside on the far turn and faded. UNDER THE RADAR was bumped at the start, outrun early and did not factor. EXIT RIGHT stalked outside, then chased two wide, raced between horses in the stretch and faded. GURT'S WARRIOR raced four wide early, settled off the pace, moved up four wide at the quarter pole, gained mildly, was checked behind MAKABIM at the eighth pole and eased up late. DAD'S ON A ROLL was bumped at the start, raced inside and gave way. After a Jockey's Objection, MAKABIM was disqualified and placed eleventh for interference in the stretch. The race was run under strong windy conditions.
