Chart notes
COLD AS HELL was hustled to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, extended the lead leaving the turn, raced inside on that bend, responded well when asked turning into upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop while off the rail outside the furlong marker, remained under the crop until just before the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a strong hand ride to the finish while much the best. GUN IT was hustled from the gate, settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch under a drive, remained on his inside lead until just outside the furlong marker, swapped to the proper lead while pulled in by the rider at that point and got up for the place late while no match for the winner. SPUN AND WON was hustled from the gate, tracked the pace down the backstretch, was given his cue in the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and proved no match for the winner then lost the place late while well clear for the show. MARIACHI broke a half-step slow, settled off the pace, was roused while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn and came up empty. DANGEROUS RIDE tossed his head and was off very slow, spotted the front many lengths, was urged along at the rear while well off the inside, went around the turn in the five path and trailed.
