Chart notes
HEZA PICKLE unhurried in the early going, moved up on the inside entering the final turn, angled out, rallied four wide and drove clear. RANCH WATER pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, made a bid, took the lead down the home stretch, couldn't hold off the winner late, but held on for second. PESO PESADO raced in the middle of the field, came around the final turn on the outside, made a stretch bid, six wide and was outfinished for second. ONASA sprinted to the front, drove clear and weakened down the lane. VENN raced within contention, faded and finished evenly in the middle of the pack. THROWIN' SHADE lacked early speed and was never a factor, while finishing wide. CLARESTOWN raced evenly near the back and showed little. WOOD RIVER raced within striking distance and retreated. AMERICAN DOLLARS always raced near the back, finished wide and was no threat.
