Chart notes
MINTASTIC with the pace from the start, rated when pressured in the run up the backstretch, moved to the inside, continued to show the way far turn along the rail, shook clear turning for home, drew out through the lane under steady handling. WINNING SONG void of early foot while moving to the inside, saved ground second turn, rallied up the rail to gain the place, no match for the winner. SURFIN' M pressed early inside, fell back off the first flight before a half, moved out to the two path far turn, rebid for the show, not enough for second. SIR GALLIVANT in some traffic when back off the pace first turn, moved off the inside, in the second flight three wide into the far turn, lodged a brief, mild bid then faltered in the drive. STANIEL CAY void of speed, raced two to three wide final turn, made little impact in the drive. CHARMING TIGER prompted the pace three wide through the first turn, continued to force the issue outside the winner in the final bend, gave way from between horses entering the stretch. STONINGTON in the second flight off the inside, four wide through the final turn, backed up through the stretch.
