Chart notes
FLYOVER became fractious in the gate, sprinted to the front, led along the inside to the stretch and drew away under right handed urging. CURLIN COMMAND stalked the pacesetter in four path up the backstretch, chased three deep around the turn, finished willingly down the lane but had to settle for second best. LORD DUNMORE had to take up when running up on the heels of the leader early then again at the nine-sixteenths pole, stalked from inside around the turn, moved out at the top of the lane, drifted a bit and corrected at the eighth pole, continued to drift out a bit more in the final furlong and lasted for third. HIGH KING popped the gate open but did not leave the stall, was forwardly placed in the opening stages, asked in the two path between rivals on the turn and weakened in the lane. OAKLEY'S SMILE broke a step slow and bumped with inner rival, tracked off the rail then moved inside, got put in a bit tight by LAST CALL PAUL and broke stride at the three-eighths pole, continued along the fence and was asked right handed entering the lane, kept trying in the late stages but failed to threaten. LAST CALL PAUL tracked in the two path into turn, lost ground around the bend and weakened. IRISH ELEMENT brushed with OAKLEY'S SMILE leaving the gate, trailed two wide into the turn, moved into the three path on the turn, entered the stretch in the two path, drifted in then back out in the lane and was never a factor. INCREDIBLE MOVES had to steady off heels crossing back onto the turf early, dropped off the pace, chased two then three wide on the turn and was never a factor.
