Chart notes
SCALLYWAG broke out, pressed the pace, took the lead at the 1/2 pole, was collared by CAJUN CRUISER down the home stretch, dueled to the wire and prevailed for the win. CAJUN CRUISER broke a step slow, racing in the back, moved up on the inside around the turn, angled out, split rivals at the head of the lane, moved to the inside, dueled to the wire with SCALLYWAY, was outfinished for the win, but proved best of others. PUCKSTER raced within contention, saved ground around the turn, angled out, made a wide bid, proved no match for the top two, but was a clear third. ROYCES RIDE sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground and faded. ZESTINY raced evenly near the back and was never a factor. LOUISIANA LUCA showed early speed, dropped back and was outrun. EASY EDDIE A always raced near the back and showed little.
