Chart notes
CARPE GOLD dueled on the lead inside a rival while out from the rail, continued well in the lane and proved best late. STATE SCHOOL SMART dueled from outside the winner and could not get by late. TERRY'S SERVICE came out at the break, chased the dueling leaders three to four wide and could not produce the needed late run. WANTABE saved ground in the turn and gained position but could not threaten. SUBSEQUENT EVENT was two or three wide and lacked a closing run. STANFORD STAR failed to offer a bid three wide. CAT WITH CLASS was always back along the inside. WAR TEMPEST trailed throughout. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
