Chart notes
LEXINGTON RIVER saved ground stalking the pace while patiently handled early, moved out to rally three wide into the lane and quickly went clear then was roused and widened in the lane. GRACIOUS KAT stalked the pace two or three wide to move with the winner in the final turn but could not go with that one. MR. BUTCH WOMBLE made the pace inside a rival to kick clear into the far turn but came up empty nearing the lane. CONNECT ME was well back off the early pace three wide, angled out in the far turn to come five wide into the lane and made a belated late run. GO FOR IT saved ground and improve position but could not threaten late. RING TAILED TOOTER stalked the pace from four wide to make a mild bid into the far turn but weakened nearing the lane. VELOCIDAD tracked the pace from three wide and gave way badly in the far turn. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
