Chart notes
POCKET WATCH hustled away from the start, showed good speed to the turn then dueled GABRIELLA WHO along the bend, battled that stubborn rival into upper stretch, took a narrow lead into the final sixteenth and dug in late to prevail. CON SEAL AND KERRY a step slow away from the start, tracked the early pace while saving ground, angled three wide at the quarter marker and chased into the stretch, responded to urging in the final furlong, closed willingly in the late stages and just missed for the win, while getting up in time for the place. GABRIELLA WHO rushed up and disputed the early pace from the inside, dueled inside of POCKET WATCH along the turn, stubbornly battled into upper stretch, battled to the final sixteenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and was clear of the rest for the show. CADEN'S GIRL allowed to settle while never far back early on, swung to the five path into the turn then chased the pace approaching the quarter pole, spun four to five wide into upper stretch, needed more in the late stages and offered a mild late bid. HOOK EM UP crowded at the start and off slowly, raced outside of rivals while trailing approaching the turn, swung five to six wide into upper stretch, could not find the needed response in the drive and passed tiring rivals in the stretch. MARKED BY MISCHIEF close up in the early going, chased the pace two to three wide and between rivals into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter pole then weakened in the stretch. LEAP YEAR NIGHT chased the early pace while three to four wide and between runners, lost position nearing the quarter marker and gave way in the stretch. FOR THE GRAM chased the early pace while four to five wide and between runners, lost position nearing the quarter marker and tired in the stretch. ZAPPIN broke out then was rank leaving the gate, trailed in the early stages and was never a factor. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
