MY GOOD GOOD BOY sent for the early lead, set a disputed pace to the turn, dueled inside of a pair of rivals nearing the quarter marker then shook free into upper stretch, dug in when confronted by BYE BYE LIAM, was unyielding in the final yards and lasted at the wire for a game win. BYE BYE LIAM raced close up to the early pace while inside of runners, stalked from the inside along the turn, mounted a rail bid into the stretch, battled MY GOOD GOOD BOY to the final yards then just missed for the win, while holding safely at the wire for second. BETTOR TRIP NICK disputed the early pace from outside of runners, pressed three wide into the turn, lost position into upper stretch, stayed on through the lane and was outkicked in deep stretch, while clear of the rest for third. BLUEGRASS FAITH a bit slow into stride away from the start, saved ground into the turn and advanced nearing the quarter marker, maintained an inside path to the stretch then could not find the needed late response. WEDDING GROOM hustled away from the start, pressed the early pace from between runners, disputed the solid pace to the quarter pole, lost position into upper stretch then weakened. PATRIOT tracked the early pace from outside of runners, chased three to four wide along the turn, went four to five wide into the stretch and gave way. ROCKY BAR SIX tracked the early pace from between runners, chased two to three wide to the stretch then faltered in the lane. DORA'S STORM shuffled then took up in the early going, trailed into the turn and lacked a late response.
