Chart notes
BELOUNI (FR) was allowed to settle two wide under a nice hold, dropped to the inside on the far turn and inched clear leaving the five sixteenths and moved out by the quarter pole and made a three wide bid leaving the turn to go on even terms for command with his barn mate by the furlong marker, then was given one tap left handed and gained a short lead and then one pop again left handed by the sixteenth marker to edge clear under confident handling. EXACT ESTIMATE set the early pace while clear and under a good hold, was well handled throughout and came two wide off the bend and was confronted by the winner, dug in gamely and fought on to the wire but was out-kicked while clearly second best. IT CAN BE DONE tracked the early pace in between rivals into the first turn, then prompted the pace two wide by the half mile marker and onto the far turn, came three to four wide off the bend and could not go with the top two while staying on to best the rest. PALAZZI was three wide into the first turn, moved to the inside and saved ground on the far turn and improved in the lane on the inside. NINJA STAR tracked the early pace on the inside, moved out and was three to four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and weakened. OISHI was settled back early and lacked a rally.
