Chart notes

FLATTERMEINCOURT angled over to the rail after the break but lacked a clear path and caused a chain reaction to the inside, stalked CASHOUT CAROL through the early stages, then ramped up the pressure on the far turn, took the lead passing the quarter pole still traveling well, quickened on cue at the top of the stretch and held sway ahead of a couple of serious late challengers. C'S LILLY DANCER veered in after the start, making some contact with CASHOUT CAROL, raced on the outside of the rest down the chute and avoided the trouble, tracked two deep in the trailing pair, moved closer going into the far turn, bid three wide into the stretch then finished well under strong handling and urging but was unable to get to the winner. KAZAMATAZ took up sharply when crowded shortly after the start, settled inside with the tracking pair down the backstretch, bided time through the far turn then produced a strong rally in the stretch but was outkicked to the wire. MOONLIGHT GREY forced to steady in traffic when crowded after the break, was held up early trailed far back though the early stages, passed one tired foe in the stretch but was otherwise unable to threaten. CASHOUT CAROL took a bump from C'S LILLY DANCER then dodged some of the trouble after the break and sped to the lead leaving the chute, went to short lead down the stretch with FLATTERMEINCOURT in close attendance, tried to quicken with three furlongs to run but unable to shake that foe through the turn then tired in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
