Chart notes
FIRST AGAIN attended to the early pace from outside of THE SMOOCH, contested the pace up the backstretch then dueled THE SMOOCH into the far turn, took command and kept to task to upper stretch then drew away in the lane. MAMA WAS A ROCKET forwardly placed while outside of runners early, shifted to the inside and tracked the pace up the backstretch, roused three wide into the far turn, could not keep pace with the winner in the stretch drive and held late for second. CORRINA CORRINA bumped at the start and off a bit slowly, was unhurried early on, made a steady advance from outside of runners up the backstretch, chased four to five wide along the far turn then swung widest for the drive, closed in the lane and just missed for second, while clear of the rest for third. THE SMOOCH showed good speed away from the start, assumed command then set the early pace, contested a modest pace up the backstretch, lost position into the second turn then faded through the lane. MISS FLUFFY rated nicely while saving ground early on, shifted to the outside and tracked the pace four wide approaching the far turn, ran in pursuit four wide to the quarter marker then could not muster a late rally. RIGHT FOR YOU broke out a step at the start, bumped CORRINA CORRINA and was off a bit slowly, settled while saving ground early on, trailed to the second turn and was not a late factor.
