ALWAYS FIRING broke alertly then assumed early command, set the pace from the inside along the turn, drifted out a path into upper stretch, met the bid of MOZART J in the lane, dug in in the final strides and held at the wire for the win. MOZART J chased the early pace, bid two to three wide and between runners into the stretch, confronted ALWAYS FIRING then battled that rival to the wire and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. CELEBRITY GIRL tracked the early pace from between runners, moved to the rail approaching the turn and took the path of JAMIE CAN'T DANCE, chased from the rail into upper stretch then closed the gap late to earn the show honors. BARYSTA prominent early, pressed the pace two to three wide into the turn, drifted four to five wide nearing the top of the stretch, was outkicked in the lane and missed for third. POW WOW tracked the early pace from outside of rivals, chased three to four wide into upper stretch then lacked a late response. BRAVE TOEWS allowed to settle early, chased two to three wide along the turn then did not factor in the stretch drive. JAMIE CAN'T DANCE off slow to begin, tracked the early pace from the inside, was caught in tight then took up approaching the turn, lost position into the bend, chased from the rail into upper stretch then could not muster the needed response.
