Chart notes

BLINGO crossed in front of a rival leaving the start, assumed early command then set the pace to the turn, drew clear along the bend, drew off in the stretch then was ridden out to the wire to win as much the best. LEAP DAY tracked the early pace three wide then from the inside, was no match for the winner into the stretch, stayed on in the late stages and held safely for second. MAJORWAYHOME in tight then checked soon after start, settled while saving ground in the early stages, advanced from the rail into upper stretch, could not find more in the late stages but was able to get up in the final strides for third. FINGLAS LAD allowed to settle, chased three wide to the stretch, could not find the needed late response and just missed for third. JORNALERO pressed the early pace from outside of BLINGO, chased that rival along the turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and gave way. WIND RIVER lacked early speed, chased two wide to the stretch and did not factor late. FACETIOUS broke slowly, rushed up and tracked four wide to the turn, spun five wide into upper stretch then tired in the drive. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available. Internal fractions have been removed and are unavailable.
