TOMA TODO vied for the lead from inside, cleared on the backstretch, drifted out a bit approaching the quarter pole and once more late on the bend, continued to maintain a clear advantage into deep stretch, came under threat from ABRAAJ MIRAGE approaching the wire and was able to hold on. ABRAAJ MIRAGE trailed two wide into the first turn then moved into the four path around the bend, continued at the back in three path around the far turn, swung out approaching the stretch and chased nine wide at the top of the lane, closed in steadily from the middle portion of the track, reeled in the leader nearing the wire and missed. PICAHOUSE stalked from inside then pulled the rider forward between the leaders on the first turn, lost contact with the pacesetter on the backstretch but remained closest in pursuit, took aim two to three wide on the far turn, drifted out in the drive and finished willingly to earn third. GRAPE NUTS WARRIOR went three wide into the first turn racing near the back, got floated out to the five path around the bend, chased four deep leaving the backstretch, spun six wide into the drive and finished well to narrow the gap late. STORMIN HONGKONG vied three deep in the six path into the first turn then steered to the four path and took a stalking position, traveled between runners approaching the far turn, went two then three wide around that bend and finished willingly through the final furlong. SOCAL RED stalked three deep then got floated out to the five path on the clubhouse turn, dropped off the pace, asked two then three wide on the second bend, ran into traffic from upper to midstretch and kept on trying once in the clear but could not threaten. SAINT PIO fought between into the first turn then the three path late on the bend, took a tracking position behind the top pair, lost ground under coaxing two wide on the far turn, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more to threaten. CLAYTON DELANEY was stalking between foes when he got put in tight entering the clubhouse turn, moved to the inside after the incident, got boxed in and shuffled back on the far turn, remained inside and cut the corner into the lane, kept on trying but failed to summon the needed rally. HONKY TONK HERO stalked off the inside into the clubhouse turn before drifting out to the four path around the bend, raced three deep into the far turn, came five wide into the lane and could not rally. MUAY THAI (IRE) got floated out to the six path racing towards the rear on the first turn, drew closer on the backstretch, chased three then four deep on the far turn and tired.
