VISUAL POWERHOUSE raced close up seven wide down the backstretch, went clear of the pack three deep with GOSPEL DON and OUT WITH MATHEW, assumed commmand before the quarter pole, drew clear and widened in the stretch, geared down near the finish. TOO COLD AT HOME was not involved in the early pace and raced in the middle of the second flight down the backstretch, angled out to the three path midway on the turn then came three wide into the stretch finished well but could only chase the winner home while well clear of the rest. FULLY FUNDED five deep in the early pace battle, was the first to go after the trio that broke away from the pack on the turn, came under urging from the quarter pole and outfinished all but two to win the third prize. MAGICAL MAX vied six wide down the backstretch, backed off the pace into a tracking position then tried to re-bid six wide into the stretch and produced a steady if slow finish to improve late. GOSPEL DON showed good speed from the break, vied four deep in the early pace mix then pulled ahead with OUT WITH MATHEW going into the turn, loomed a threat from the quarter pole then flattened out before mid-stretch. ARCH OF SWORDS dropped far back early, saved ground through the turn and ran on some to improve position. DI RISATA MOLTO stumbled badly at the start then raced mid-pack three wide, started a mild bid still three wide on the tun but flattened out in the stretch. OUT WITH MATHEW was two deep in the early pace scramble them poked a head in front, vied inside a pair of rivals through the turn, gave way passing the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. APPEALS LAST RIDE broke well, was in between as several contested the early lead, could not keep pace on the turn and was not a factor in the stretch. EL SARGENTO C got shuffled back at the start when DI RISATA MOLTO came over recovering from the stumble, then raced between horses in the second flight through the early running then faltered mid-way on the turn and did not factor late. WARM SMILE was close up on the rail in the initial stages then retreated through the turn and had nothing to offer in the stretch. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
