Chart notes
BIRTHDAY PARTY hopped at the start, reserved, racing in the back, moved up on the outside around the final turn and got up late. APPLEWOOD lacked early speed, swung to the outside entering the home stretch, made a wide bid and closed willingly. SEEHOSS sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the final turn and was caught for second. DRILLING REPORT pressed the pace, made a bid, took the lead at the 3/4 pole and faded down the stretch. MR. FOUR SEVENS raced in the middle of the field, moved up on the rail around the second turn, was blocked, eased back and lacked a late bid. HOSTILE AFLEET raced in the middle of the field, came around the final turn on the outside, weakened and finished evenly. SADIE'S LIGHT pressed the pace, came around the final turn on the outside and dropped back. JOEY'S LIGHTENING void of early speed, came around the second turn on the outside and showed little.
