Chart notes
RILEY'S ROCKSTAR outrun early, rated outside, bid on the final turn and was up after a long drive. CAPTAIN CRUSH stalked clear pacesetter, edged to the front at the quarter pole, battled back and was outdueled to the wire. OHIO JOE settled off the pace inside, faded on the final turn then came again. BOTTLES hustled to clear advantage for five furlongs then came empty in the stretch. MARCHIN INTO APRIL lacked speed in the two path, moved wide in the stretch then flattened out. MCKIRGAN trailed far behind then narrowed gap without menacing. WILD CAPTAIN moved close up briefly then stopped losing contact with his field.
