DANVILLE broke in at the start and crowded an outer rival, settled while saving ground into the first turn, shifted out then tracked the pace three to four wide heading to the far turn, mounted a four to five wide rally into the stretch, took command into the final furlong then drew away while kept to task late. TWO COOKIE RULE crowded a bit at the start, settled outside of runners into the first turn, advanced up the backstretch then slipped to the rail into the far turn, waited for room nearing the top of the lane, split rivals and rallied into the final furlong, could not keep pace with the winner into deep stretch and was a clear second best. ROCKET HOTSHOT settled while saving ground in the early stages, took off of the rail into the second turn then rallied six wide into the stretch, could not make headway late on the top pair and was clear at the wire for third. TEMPER TANTRUM off a bit slowly to begin, was hustled to the first turn then tracked the pace up the backstretch, chased three wide along the second turn, was caught a bit in tight while between runners into upper stretch, lacked the needed response in the lane and weakened in the final stages. WILDWOOD'S WARRIOR threw his head at the start then was squeezed at the break and was off slowly, unhurried in the early stages, trailed to the second turn, swung four wide for the stretch drive then angled further at the furlong marker and improved position late. STINGY sent to assume early command, cleared the field into the first turn then set his own pace up the backstretch, carved out decent fractions while clear along the second turn, was overtaken into upper stretch then faded through the final furlong. FLYING SAMURAI vied for the lead away from the start, took back then tracked the loose pacesetter into the backstretch, chased STINGY into the second turn, lacked a response into upper stretch then tired in the lane.
