Chart notes
STOKE THE FIRE settled in the second flight while three wide, advanced on the dueling leaders while still in the three path in upper stretch, put a head in front past the furlong marker and drew clear. BAYOU BLITZ dueled up front along the inside, put the other speed away just as the winner came calling in upper stretch, proved no match for that one to the wire, comfortably saved the place. IRON DOME lacked speed while four wide into the first turn, moved inside for the second bend, in some traffic midway through that bend in the two path, got through into the lane, proved determined for the show. KAVANAUGH broke in and lastly, lacked speed while saving ground, continued along the inside through the second turn, got through while continuing inside, chased the top two past the furlong marker, caught for the show. TIZ MY HERO dueled up front while outside the runner up, first to blink entering the stretch, continued to weaken. CAN'T STOP WILLIS five wide into the first turn when off the pace, angled in a bit to save some ground three to four wide in the second turn, failed to muster a rally. GRAND ORACLE in the second flight while off the inside, backed up in the drive.
