Chart notes
RIESENBERG prompted the pace two wide around the clubhouse turn, made the lead before a half mile, set the balance of the pace and drew off in the stretch under a strong hand ride. THIRD DEGREE trailed for five furlongs, rallied four wide into the stretch and finished clear for second in the six path. CONVERT never far back, finished the best of the rest two wide. THE SWAYZE EXPRESS saved ground, improved along the rail into the stretch then failed to sustain that bid. RAGS SPECIAL hopped at the start, moved up three wide before a half mild then came up empty. SWEET TRAVELS set the pace along the inside for nearly a half mile, kept pressure into the stretch then gave way.
