HURRICANE LASSIE reeled in the leader through the turn to bid inside turning for home and quickly move clear then was roused upper stretch and widened a bit. LA. GRAND SLAM showed the most early speed to quickly open daylight on the field, was reeled in through the turn and could not go with the winner while clearly best of the others. LIKING IT TWISTED moved up four wide to gain the show while no threat to the top pair. IRON LOTUS was along the inside and moved up through the lane. BETONYA moved inside on the turn and weakened in the drive. TAP THE HEART weakened three wide. SING CHARMER SING was not a factor. CHASING AFTER YOU trailed.
