Chart notes
LIFE ON THE NILE moved to the front early along the inside, was challenged by PERVASIVE going up the backstretch, shook that one off in the far turn then was roused upper stretch and held a comfortable margin. PERVASIVE moved outside the winner to challenge in early backstretch but could not go with that through the far turn. BIG HEARTED FACTOR stalked the pace three wide and made a mild gain through the stretch but could not reach the top pair. BARBIERE rallied three and four wide in the far turn but could not threaten late. BRILLIANT COLORS failed to mount a bid three wide. OBVIOUSLY TOO saved ground and weakened. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
