Chart notes
MISCHIEF'S MACHINE moved three wide going up the backstretch to challenge nearing the far turn, kicked well clear and moved off under a hand ride. JAMES'S MOONSHINE saved ground just off the pace, moved nearest the winner into the lane and held the place late. WRONG DIRECTION rallied inside through the far turn and went evenly in the lane to be well clear for position. OUTRIGHT moved up inside to best the others only. TOP OF THE ROCK stalked the pace three or four wide and weakened. CHARLIE'S CREED failed to mount a bid three wide. PRINCE OF LUCK contested the early lead along the inside and tired. GUINESSEY weakened three and four wide. RANDOM AFFAIR was always back. GOLD CRUSHER showed early speed three wide and tired. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
