Chart notes
HEARD ON THESTREET , bumped by OPTICAL BIJOU leaving the starting gate, circled the turn three wide, took the lead outside PRADO ROAD near the eighth pole then drove clear. PRADO ROAD bobbled slightly leaving the starting gate, pressed the pace outside SWIFTY DEVIL, challenged for the lead at the head of the stretch, was hooked on his outside by the winner in mid stretch and continued gamely. SWIFTY DEVIL accelerated to the early lead, stayed along the inner rail on the turn, lost the advantage entering the lane and faded. OPTICAL BIJOU came in bumping the winner at the start, raced along the inner rail on the turn, swung out in upper stretch and weakened. THREE CAPTAINS raced in the two path on the turn, swung four wide in upper stretch and was not a factor. WITHOUT PRETENCE remained along the inner rail on the turn and was not a factor.
