Chart notes
CAPITAN GEORGE was away alertly to set the pace while in the two path on the turn, came three wide into the lane and was challenged by the furlong marker, but turned back those bids and shook clear to prove best under a drive. SCOTT TWENTYTWO prompted the winner three wide and came four wide into the lane and made a bid but hung in the final furlong while saving the place award. WEMBY tracked the pace from the outside, four wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane to make a bid by the furlong marker but hung, bested rest. MIRACLE TRIP was reserved early, three to four wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane but had no late punch. WARRIOR'S WAY OUT chased the pace on the inside, came two wide into the lane but needed more. FREE DROP BACH was settled early, between rivals by the five sixteenths, swung out seven wide leaving the turn and had no rally. ON THE RIM tracked the pace two wide, dropped to the inside by the quarter pole and weakened. MUSIC BOX DANCER was well placed on the inside and then came up empty.
