Chart notes
DREAM ON tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying through the final furlong taking command seventy yards from the finish, dug in to prevail by a neck in a blanket finish at the wire. SEPTARIAN settled saving ground near the rear of the field, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and was set down taking the inside route into upper stretch at that station, tipped out two paths inside the eighth pole and offered up a good finish to close in stoutly late and missed at the end, then galloped out in front after the finish. SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN established the front crossing to show the way in hand along the inside, remained patiently handled until let out spinning into upper stretch along the inside route, dug in under a drive safely in front to the eighth pole but under growing threat to the outside, got collared with seventy yards to the finish, fought on to the wire. REVOLUTIONNAIRE (FR) tracked the front just off the inside and then along the inside coming under encouragement near the quarter pole, angled four wide at the top of the stretch, dug in under a drive closing well through the final furlong but was out-finished in the late stages. END OF ROMANCE (IRE) settled just off the inside at the rear of the field, came under coaxing three furlongs from home, angled out five wide into upper stretch, closed well in tandem with the aforementioned foe to the wire but was out-finished in the late going. TIZ DASHING broke in a step at the start bumping CAIRO CAPER, chased two to three wide through the first turn and down the backstretch before committing to the two path through the far turn, got placed to coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a closing bid but made no headway positionally through to the end. CAIRO CAPER brushed the off side stall at the start, then got bumped by TIZ DASHING, who broke in a step, tracked the leader in closest aim just off the inside coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to run, spun three wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced through the stretch but was outkicked.
