Chart notes
UNDER OATH dueled on the lead inside AXEL STEEL through the opening half mile, edged clear and drew off in the far turn then held command in the lane under steady handling. CHARTER OAK angled out in the first turn, rallied three wide in the far turn, continued the bid into the lane but could only make a modest gain on the winner. AXEL STEEL dueled on the pace outside the winner to the far turn and weakened nearing the lane. GENERAL SHIPMAN stumbled and struggled to recovered at the break to get away last, moved three and four wide to reach contention on the far turn but lacked a final late run while five wide into the lane. MO SUMMER failed to mount a rally along the inside. MEDICINE TAIL weakened two and three wide. CALEB ON THE GO followed the pace three wide and weakened. FALSELY ACCUSED trailed.
