Chart notes
LILLY MAE reserved early in being taken well back, continued unhurried into the turn, swung out five wide when advancing into the stretch, outside bid past the furlong marker, proved best under firm handling. A VISION OF HOPE in mid pack for a half off the inside, in some traffic turning into the stretch, shifted out a bit for room split foes, roused, finished with some late energy to be up for the place. PRESLEYS TURN behind the pace inside, crept a bit closer into the stretch, rail bid a furlong out, could not match the winner late, nipped in the final jump for the place. WHO LU lacked speed, waited behind traffic along the rail late turn, clear for the drive, evenly late. CHARMIT hustled clear after the start, set the pace for almost five furlongs, caved in. STEEL SPUN back off the pace after breaking a step slow, came four wide for the drive, lacked a closing kick. NIP IT IN THE BUD within striking distance, four wide exiting the turn, backed up in the run to the wire. ROCKITRETTA chased the leader for a half while off the inside, gave way. AVALON GIRL ran off briskly during the warm up, broke with the field, finished early, trailed home.
