Chart notes
SMOOTH CRUISEIN vied three deep then dueled outside SELF SUFFICIENT up the backstretch, fought two then three wide around the bend, inched ahead in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and held safely over the runner-up. POSITIVITY raced in range from off the rail, angled out to the six path around the far turn, bid from the middle portion of the track to gain second but could not reach the winner. SELF SUFFICIENT vied between rivals for a bit then dueled from inside a rival up the backstretch, fought a bit off the rail around the bend, stayed on to midstretch, then weakened in the last sixteenth. SHADY TIGER stalked in the two path into the turn, steered out to the five path and flattened out. MOMAD showed early speed inside the top pair then chased up the backstretch, came under a ride saved ground on the turn, exited the bend in the two path and weakened.
