Chart notes
CLOUSEAU settled next to the fence at the back, trailed through the far turn, tipped out a bit into the lane, rallied three deep between rivals into deep stretch and won going away. BRAZENLY settled in the two path, followed three deep in pursuit in the middle stages, remained three wide through the far turn, rallied four deep into the last sixteenth, got outclosed by the winner but gained second. RODRIGOKNOWS forwardly placed in the three path on the first turn, applied pressure to the leader into the backstretch, lost touch with the frontrunner at the nine-sixteenths pole, latched on once more leaving the backstretch, dueled around the far turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, battled into deep stretch and yielded late. CANANI brushed leaving the gate, cleared quickly and moved to the rail, took pressure exiting the clubhouse turn, cleared at the nine-sixteenths pole, confronted by RODRIGOKNOWS again into the far turn, resisted through the bend, relinquished the lead in upper stretch, fought to the sixteenth pole, yielded to outer rivals and got edged for third. IT'S A FACTOR brushed with CANANI at the start, tracked from inside, drew closer in the middle stages, cut the corner into the lane and weakened. SHORTMAN tossed his head and broke a step slow, tracked three deep through the first turn, crept closer four deep on the backstretch, chased four then three deep on the far turn and weakened. BLAME THE CLASSIC was prominent early in the two path, raced in range up the backstretch, continued two wide on the second bend and weakened.
