POWER NAP saved ground while being reserved off the pace, angled out to be five-wide entering the stretch and was up with a rush in the final sixteenth. GO WATER saved ground stalking the pace, angled out to be three-wide nearing the quarter pole, took the lead entering the stretch but was unable to resist the winner late. PARK IN THE DARK dueled with BET U MONEY for the lead from along the inside and held on fairly well during the drive for third. BET U MONEY dueled with PARK IN THE DARK to the stretch from along the outside and weakneed. OAKLEY COURT was forwardly placed while racing four-wide but lacked a rally. VEGUITA settled in the middle of the field while racing three-wide but was unable to seriously threaten. NETTLEINFRONT was unhurried early, raced four-wide on the turn and was not a factor.
