READS PET ZENON vied with B A CHAM[PION for the lead from along the outside, shook that one off entering the stretch then responded when challenged by DECK HUMOR and prevailed in a prolonged drive. DECK HUMOR saved ground while being reserved off the pace, angled out three-wide to off a bid entering the stretch but was unable to get by the winner in a game effort. GRIFTER settled in the back of the field early, moved up between horses nearing the three-eighths pole, came four-wide into the stretch and closed stromngly. B A CHAMPION vied with READS PET ZENON for the lead to the stretch from along the inside and weakened. MUSICS MY VICE was forwardly placed, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked rally. HOLLYWOOD TIZ settled in the middle of the field, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. ARTFUL CRITIC saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out to be three-wide entering the stretch and failed to menace. MONIKER saved ground while being unhurried and failed to be a factor.
