Chart notes
HERE COMES FRANCIS was reluctant to load, away alertly and soon clear to show the way while clear and off the rail, two path on the turn under a hold and came three wide off the bend and drew out and remained well clear under hand urging. SHADOW FACTOR stalked the winner three wide and came four wide into the lane but proved to be no match for the winner while clearly second best. SIMO chased the pace on the outside, four wide on the turn and moved in leaving the quarter pole and finished on the inside to best the rest. EL TINMARIN was settled early, two path on the turn and never threatened. TROOPS was settled on the inside and tired. KING GERALD was dwelt at the start, finally came out and failed to get into a gallop and was pulled up and walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the start, after reviewing the replays the number six received a fair start and was just dwelt so the race was left as is.
