Chart notes
BRINDI (IRE) was quick to make the lead, set the pace inside while hounded throughout, met the challenge of WINTERBERRY past the quarter pole, regained command in upper stretch, kicked just clear and held gamely while being kept to the task. LISTEN AND LEARN chased mid-pack early, steadily dropped back between foes early on the turn, angled five wide turning for home, floated a bit wider, rallied outside runners to just get up for second. SOCIAL CODE broke just a half-step slowly and a tad awkwardly, was encouraged along shifting in and advanced inside, saved some ground on the turn, came out four wide in mid-stretch, got the nod for show. CHARLOTTE'S HEART settled into stride outside off the leaders, raced mostly four to six wide throughout, rallied some but was outkicked from between runners late. WINTERBERRY pressed the eventual winner from the outset, applied further pressure willingly drawing even coming to the quarter pole, loomed a threat heading to the top of the stretch but could not kick on and flattened out. SALT broke a step slowly, settled at the rear, made no impact.
