Chart notes
CHROME'S BEST COPY vied with DON'T TELL HYDEE for the early lead from along the outside, shook that one off after three furlongs, responded when headed by CRYSTAL PROOF nearing the eighth pole and proved best under strong handling. CRYSTAL PROOF was forwardly placed while racing three-wide to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole, but wasn't quite able to match strides with the winner late. READY TO GIG was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. GREATFUL ATTITUDE was reserved off the pace, came two-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. POKER ALICE was prominently placed while racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and weakened. DON'T TELL HYDEE vied for the lead from along the inside for three furlongs and tired.
