Chart notes
MRS. GAMBOLINI led the way up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and held clear to the finish. GREAT VENEZUELA raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and gained ground late. SOL HOPE stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and chased on in the lane. TIFFANY GOLD chased the leader on the inside through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and kept on to the wire. DRUM ROLL raced off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the two path and showed no kick. HEAVEN RULES raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and faded from there. MUSICAL DESIGN trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was never a factor.
