Chart notes
DOCSGOTALLTHECANDY , away alertly, disputed the pace outside WE CALLED SOL while under some rating, took over leaving the far turn, spurted clear when given cue into the lane, opened up under a solid drive in mid stretch, remained on his left lead and was confidently handled through the final fifty yards. TYSON'S DELIVERY stumbled at the break, recovered and was hustled up, gave hard chase of the embattled leaders, emerged as the closest pursuer in upper stretch and kept on gamely to save the place. FLATBED FORD , between foes early, eased back a bit near the half, angled out past the five sixteenths, was fanned six wide into the stretch, straightened to make a run, drifted in past mid stretch, corrected and finished up with good energy. LET FLY saved ground chasing, angled five wide into the lane but came up empty. WE CALLED SOL dueled inside, shifted out soon into the lane and faded. IMPERIAL BRUT lagged far back, raced towards the inside in the lane and had belated interest. ROYAL FLUSH HEARTS broke a bit slow, edged up four wide to be in range into the turn, chased outside foes past the five sixteenths, was floated out to about the seven path soon after and faded.
