COMMISSIONER D was bumped at the start, settled with the second flight two wide, circled rivals four wide through the turn, battled the length of the stretch and proved best by a narrow margin under strong handling. MOST ADORABLE pressed the pace along the inside, gained a narrow lead entering the stretch, dueled to the wire and just missed hanging on. DRILL BLITZ broke inward bumping the winner at the start, saved ground into the stretch and finished with good courage. ROSETTA away alertly, set a pressured pace two wide into the stretch then weakened in the stretch. RIVER HUSTLER pressed the early pace three wide and was through after a half. VAMONOS PIACENTE was bumped at the start, checked hard along the rail at the at the eleven sixteenths pole then trailed. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time available.
