Chart notes
ATREIDESREFLECTION hustled to assume early command, set a prompted pace up the backstretch, dug in while pressured into the far turn, met the bid of VALID EURO into upper stretch, dueled gamely through the lane and lasted for the win in deep stretch. VALID EURO tracked the early pace from the second flight, was well placed while two to three wide nearing the second turn, bid three wide at the quarter marker, drew to even terms with ATREIDESREFLECTION then dueled that rival to the final sixteenth, could not get by the determined winner late and was a game runner-up. IMA BOXER BOY settled while saving ground early on, shifted off of the rail then chased four wide along the far turn, was no match for the top pair in the stretch but stayed on to the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. CODE ELEVEN a bit slow away from the start, chased the early pace from outside of runners, ran in pursuit three to four wide up the backstretch, maintained a wide path to the quarter marker then weakened in the stretch drive. STRAIGHT AHEAD tracked the early pace from the second flight, saved ground while well placed up the backstretch, made an inside bid into the second turn, chased into upper stretch then outkicked at the furlong marker and gave way in the late stages. GOSPEL JOURNEY asked for early speed leaving the start, disputed the pace outside of ATREIDESREFLECTION up the backstretch, lost position between runners into the second turn then faded in the stretch. CAVALLINO RAMPANTE allowed to settle in the early stages, trailed into the second turn and was not a late factor.
