Chart notes
HAPPY INSTEAD was rated along on the inside, moved out to make a three wide bid, hit the front nearing the furlong marker and drew clear to prove best under a drive. HAY HAY HARRY dueled for the lead on the outside, three to two wide on the turn, vied for the lead between rivals leaving the turn and could not go with the winner in the final furlong while staying on gamely for the place award. BOBBY THE TANK dueled for the lead on the inside while in the two path entering the turn and moved to the rail on the turn, then battled on to the furlong marker and was out-kicked for the place award. MORE VINO was bumped at the start, settled early and three wide on the turn, then had a mild late kick. DRINKING SOLO was settled on the inside and lacked a rally. INDEPENDENT PAUL bumped at the break, reserved two to four wide on the turn and never factored.
