Chart notes
NOT TODAY GOVERNOR bumped a rival at the break, then went up to set a pressured pace on the inside and then shook clear by the quarter pole and came two wide off the bend and drew off to prove much the best under a drive. A KNIGHT'S COURAGE bumped a rival at the break, then was well placed on the inside, proved to be no match for the winner while winning the place battle. SUPPORT THE CAT chased the pace four to five wide and came five wide and finished willingly on the outside missing the place award. FRONTAL VISION pressed the pace three wide and faded in the lane losing the show award late. AMERICAN DAY was away sharply and settled four wide and weakened. THE SAXON STORY was bumped and sandwiched at the break and trailed early, then tried to avoid fallen rival by the seven sixteenths on the inside while far back and was not a factor. ONE WITHEVERYTHING tracked the leaders early and then clipped the heels of FRONTAL VISION by the seven sixteenths and stumbled and fell losing the rider, was caught and walked off post race. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the incident around the seven sixteenths, after the Stewards reviewed the replays they disqualified the number four FRONTAL VISION for moving in the path of ONE WITHEVERYTHING causing that rival to clip heels.
